The grant partners with Lummi Natural Resources and forms a network of other partners, which will focus on community-driven issues related to environmental impacts on the Salish Sea that affect Coast Salish
The book follows the journey of Otter, a clan relation from the Chippewas of Nawash First Nation, on a journey across many indigenous traditions, lifeways, and territories on the Pacific, from the M<-a>ori of New Zealand to the Inuit of Alaska and the Coast Salish
of the Pacific Northwest.
