A spokesman said: "We received a call at around 2.20pm from a couple attempting to descend from the Clogwyn Y Person ridge where they had become cragfast and one of the party had torn a hamstring and was unable to move.
A team spokesman said yesterday: "An RAF rescue helicopter from Valley in Anglesey was able to fly the man with the head injury to hospital and the cragfast man was roped to safety." Four friends were also escorted off the peak after getting lost on Friday night.
Ogwen Valley MRT spokesman Chris Lloyd said: "Unfortunately they chose the wrong gully and found themselves cragfast. They called for help and a small hill party climbed up to them, lowered them to the Terrace and accompanied them off the hill."
